ACCENT - ISSUE THREE - WILDLIFE

Control is rampant. WILDLIFE is the road. The train to the sea in winter. Kissing someone in your kitchen because you wanted to cook for them. Telling your brother you love him. Being young, getting drunk, getting lost, believing in something. It can be the wild itself: animals, weather, big skies, the land that we pretend to manage.

What we want:
Less traditional poetry. We welcome experimental poems, prose poems, flash fiction, essays, art, photography, collage, dream records, travel logs, lists, letters, found text and anything that refuses to sit still. Submissions from published and unpublished creators are welcome.

The Accent League
Twenty-two poets · two divisions · one cup

Twenty-two poets. Two divisions. One cup.

Battle is a fully functional, highly detailed simulation engine, modelled off of football simulator games. It begins with a pre-season to seed the poets into divisions. After that it can be played for an unlimited number of seasons, with relegations, promotions, play-offs, dynamic news coverage, cup fixtures and in-depth statistics all included.

Can’t separate them? Call it a draw
