(I Searched the Sky) ~ Interlude

Rhiannon N ThomasKenya

I searched the sky to find the stars,
But all had fallen to the ground.
I trekked and troubled through the world,
The stars seemed covered by a shroud.
Nawlins, Rio, Paris too,
No stars that made me think of you.
And when I saw them once again,
Was when I heard the winds roll through.
For truly home’s the only place,
Where the stars, they find you.
